Even though MEDBANK has and lost its funding in July 2009
the Maryland Medbank Program has continued to enroll patients throughout
the state for over a year now.

There are sites in Garrett County
(at the Health Department), in Cumberland (at the Department of
Social Security), in Washington County (at the Medication
Assistance Center in Hagerstown), in Frederick County (at the
Frederick Community Action Agency), in Montgomery County(at the
Primary Care Coalition), and in Denton Maryland (at Choptank
Community Health Centers).
All patients in Central Maryland seeking
assistance through MEDBANK of Maryland, Inc. are being charged a $25
registration fee per year to offset the cost of program
administration.
We are unable to assist patients outside of the
state of Maryland
at this time and would refer all out of state patients to our MedbankUS
Discount Card (www.medbankus.org)
or the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (www.pparx.org)
While the staff is
not in place yet to resume taking new and former patients, we hope to be
